In these projects, we designed and developed 3D-rendered environments to create engaging and immersive virtual event experiences. These environments were embedded within digital event platforms, enhancing the attendee journey with interactive spaces for exploration, engagement, and storytelling. From customized ‘lobbies’ to gamified experiences, we blended physical elements with digital design, balancing reality and fantasy in innovative ways.
Our work included everything from experience mapping to 3D design and animation, ensuring that the attendee journey was intuitive and delightful while meeting strategic client objectives.

Process: Each project began with experience mapping to define key audience touchpoints and align stakeholders. From there, we developed concepts and storyboards to visually map the attendee journey, ensuring intuitive navigation and moments of delight.
In the design phase, we created dimensional environments that blended realism and fantasy, from interactive ‘lobbies’ to gamified areas and animated elements that brought each experience to life. After integrating the designs into the Hubb platform, we refined them through iteration and user feedback to optimize navigation, enhance interactivity, and align with event goals.

A glamorous, cinematic experience with a red-carpet-style animated entrance and interactive areas like Concessions Royale Lounge and Main Theater.
With Easter eggs, gamification elements, and an interactive globe map in the lobby, this event celebrated digital engagement while honoring SMPTE’s physical HQ design elements.
The Experience Mapping Workshop helped align stakeholders on audience goals, touchpoints, and interactive spaces. The map outlines six key areas, from the Main Lobby to the Awards Theater, each tailored to provide engaging and thoughtful attendee experiences throughout the virtual journey.
The Main Lobby serves as the central hub of the SMPTE virtual event, combining light-filled atriums, green walls, and textured details for an immersive digital environment. The design balances reality and virtual fantasy, offering intuitive navigation and interactive spaces for learning and connection.
Featuring multiple themed lobbies, interactive quizzes, and gamification areas.
Delivered a soft, festive animation sequence to support the navigation experience.
