The Mindsets Activation was developed as as a design thinking tool to help planners consider how to deploy human centered Design in their projects and engage across a variety of attendee profiles. It’s also functions as a strategic tool for everyday scenarios—while we all have inherent tendencies and preferences, Mindsets can be used in select situations and contexts that require a different lens.
This Activation was designed for and held at the 2019 Marriott Trend Rooms Experience in Denver, Colorado and PCMA Convening Leaders Conference 2020 in San Francisco, California.
Role:
Created the profile artwork illustrations and produced an animated gif for each profile.
Contributed to research and development of the concept and descriptions for each profile, which spoke to various experiential preferences, learning styles, and leadership styles.
Produced/edited the animated video that accompanied the activation in Denver.
Led the in-person activation at both events to discuss design thinking and audience empathy techniques with attendees.
Created handmade buttons for attendees
I worked on this project as a contractor for Hargrove, Inc. located in Lanham, Maryland.
